Privacy and your data

Your clock data

Your schedule, settings, and notification preferences stay on this device. No account, hosted record database, or automatic sync. The app does not upload your schedule, research selections, records, or backup contents. Research selections are temporary. Public information pages do not read your saved settings.

Backups and deletion

Settings backups are readable files; anyone with a copy can read them. Desktop tracker backups are encrypted and remain separate from website settings. Resetting the clock or deleting records does not delete exported copies or device backups. Browser cleanup, private browsing, or device loss can erase local settings. Clock reset preserves your analytics choice.

Website hosting

Cloudflare hosts and protects the website and downloads. It receives ordinary request information such as IP address, requested page, and request time, and produces traffic statistics. These continue when browser analytics is off. Schedule and record contents are excluded from application requests.

Optional browser analytics

On the clock, Cloudflare Web Analytics runs only after permission. It collects visit, referring-site, device, browser, operating-system, country, and performance information without clock data, cookies, or persistent visitor IDs. The choice lasts 180 days on this browser and can be changed through the clock’s Privacy control. Global Privacy Control keeps it off. The app works with analytics declined. These static information pages contain no analytics script.

Local storage and connections

Your browser stores settings, analytics choices, notification preferences, and clock files for offline use. Notifications may show eating-window messages on your lock screen. Desktop records stay on your computer; checking for desktop updates contacts this website without sending settings or records. External links and operating-system services have their own privacy policies.
